The Refugee Health Program, located at the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County provides a free health assessment and immunizations for all eligible adult and child refugees. To be eligible you need to be able to provide documentation such as an I-94 card/form, any immigration documents, passport, or official photo ID.
To ensure your health assessment is completed within 90 days of arrival to the United States, contact the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County within 30 days of arrival into the United States for an eligibility determination appointment.
Services and appointments are provided based upon the current program guidelines and appointment availability.
For adjustment of status to lawful permanent resident, you are required to have up-to-date immunizations.
