Business Responds to AIDS
This domestic public-private partnership works with businesses on HIV/AIDS issues to enhance personal commitment, ethics and civic responsibility among private sector leaders on HIV/AIDS issues, and promotes education and awareness.
Faith Responds to AIDS
Empowers and mobilizes faith-based organizations to address HIV/AIDS issues in Miami-Dade County.
Miami Collaborative
Works to enhance stakeholder engagement and mobilize local leaders to support risk-reduction behaviors. The collaborative informs local government organizations and community groups about the HIV epidemic and its impact.
PrEP Workgroup
Community and providers collaborate to create a better local service model for PrEP/nPEP in Miami-Dade County, focusing on strategic planning, capacity building, resource sharing, and opportunities to build relationships among providers and increase PrEP/nPEP uptake.
Hispanic Initiative
Developed to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS within the Hispanic community through community outreach, prevention education, meeting needs through service provider and community referrals, and information sharing.
Florida Black HIV/AIDS Coalition
Provides information, networking, training, and coordination of actions to reduce new HIV infections, increase access to care, improve health outcomes, and plan activities to achieve a more coordinated response to the HIV epidemic.
Community Services
Educational Services
Works to reach people who are likely to acquire HIV or are living with HIV and may transmit the virus to others. The program activities include HIV/STD prevention workshops, community outreach, individual risk reduction counseling, health communications and community level interventions.

Community mobilization effort that provides screenings and outreach information at Metrorail stations in high HIV/AIDS incidence neighborhoods, using mobile units to provide rapid testing, and referrals to all who visit testing locations.

Service integration model that implements and delivers holistic, evidence-based prevention services and risk reduction messages outside the clinical setting.
