Drinking Water Systems
The Environmental Engineering Section (EES) is responsible for all regulatory activities pertaining to the permitting, inspection, monitoring, and enforcement of all public drinking water facilities serving Miami-Dade County. This includes the review and processing of engineering project documents for the construction of proposed water supply, treatment, and distribution facilities, performing periodic field inspections of all water treatment plants, and reviewing all plant operation reports and laboratory analysis reports for compliance to recognized standards.
