Planning

Planning is an essential function of the Department of Health in Miami-Dade County (DOH-Miami-Dade) to prevent, control, and mitigate the impact of natural or man-made disasters and respond in the event of a public health emergency. DOH-Miami-Dade response efforts of participating agencies; designs and delivers related training support for DOH-Miami-Dade employees, community groups, private agencies, and volunteers relative to local jurisdiction plans. The DOH-Miami-Dade all hazards emergency plans are in alignment with local, regional, and state emergency plans.
