National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) is observed each year on October 15th. NLAAD promotes the effective ways to prevent, treat, and stop the spread of HIV among Latinx communities. This year’s theme is “Ending HIV is at your fingertips.” It focuses on the tools already available to respond to – and potentially end – the HIV epidemic.
Using existing prevention tools can help our community get to zero. This NLAAD remember to: take the HIV test, consider PrEP as a prevention treatment, stay adherent to HIV treatment to become and stay undetectable and use condoms.
