THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY TO HOST A “BOUNTY OF HEALTH SUMMER BASH”

Free community health and wellness event - first come, first served. Vendor spots available, registration required.

– Summer is almost over, but residents will get to have some fun in the sun thanks to the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County. The Bounty of Health Summer Bash will be hosted by the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County on Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Homestead-Miami Speedway located at One Ralph Sanchez, Speedway Boulevard in Homestead, Florida 33035.

This year’s event will focus on health and wellness, highlighting the importance of nutrition and physical activity. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a day filled with music, food demos, health screenings and lots of swags. The event and all the activities are free and open to the community on a first come, first served basis.

“Our goal is to encourage the community to live a healthier life,” said Dr. Yesenia Villalta, DNP, MSN, APRN, Administrator/Health Officer of the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County. “We are really excited to be able to offer this event that will truly benefit the community and help them take care of themselves and their families. We encourage the community to join us and enjoy all available activities.”
