This year the Tobacco Prevention Summit will focus on educating youth and young adults about the harms of tobacco use and the deceitful tactics of tobacco marketing and advertisement. In addition, the event will provide the opportunity for youth to learn about Students Working Against Tobacco and how they can become members.

Tobacco use continues to be the single most preventable cause of death and disease in the United States. Show your support for creating a tobacco free Miami-Dade and protecting the health and future of our residents.

We encourage you to attend and spread the word on this community event. Kids can enjoy the Kids Zone that has numerous activities such as pole joust, team challenge, laser maze, and a 32 foot Rockwall.
