DOH-Miami-Dade Recognizes National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Miami, Fla. –The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County recognizes National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NGMHAAD), September 27, 2015.  This observance is a nationwide community mobilization initiative that seeks to build capacity and increase awareness, participation, and support for HIV awareness among gay men.
In commemoration of NGMHAAD, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County will collaborate with Pridelines to host a free community event, “Young Adults Taking Action.”
Date:  Thursday, September 24, 2015
Time:  9:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Location:  Wynwood Kitchen, 2500 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127
HIV/AIDS prevention and education will be provided at the event
