The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County Recognizes

World AIDS Day

December 1, 2014

(Miami, December 1, 2014)- In observance of World AIDS Day, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, STD/HIV Prevention and Control Program will collaborate with the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners, Survivors Pathway and The World AIDS Day Planning Committee to host a World AIDS Day Signature Event.

                         Time:  Monday, December 1, 2014, from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM

                        Location: Miami-Dade College, Wolfson Campus

        Miami-Dade County Gettingto Zero Forum HIV/AIDS Presentation to commemorate World AIDS Day.

                      Candlelight Vigil: A time to remember those who lost their lives to HIV/AIDS.

                      Candles will be provided.

                      Celebration of Life: Refreshments, music, personal testimonies & resource

                      information will be offered.
