DOH-Miami-Dade and the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade Hosts Farm Share Drive-Thru Food Distribution Event

Miami, Fla. – With the holiday season fast approaching, residents will have the opportunity to receive fresh, nutritious food through Farm Share—an initiative hosted by the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County in partnership with the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade. The Farm Share Drive-Thru Food Distribution event will be hosted on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following location:

“We’re proud to partner with Farm Share to bring fresh, nutritious food directly to families who need it most,” said Dr. Yesenia Villalta, DNP, MSN, APRN, administrator/health officer for the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County. “This food share drive reflects our commitment to our community’s well-being—because no one should have to choose between putting food on the table and staying healthy.”
