Prenatal Care
Main Number
The Prenatal Care Program offers regular checkups during pregnancy by a qualified clinician. It helps keep mothers and their future baby healthy. At each prenatal care visit, the clinician checks on mother and baby to prevent pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, infections, depression and anxiety, preterm labor, pregnancy loss/miscarriage, and stillbirth. We also offer post-partum services, including family planning/contraception.
Services include:
- Comprehensive physical check-up
- Pelvic exam
- Complete blood count
- Blood type and Rh factor testing
- Screening for infections
- Blood testing for rubella, hepatitis B and C, and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
- Screening for sexually transmitted infections
- Screening for genetic disorders
- Referrals for fetal ultrasound
- Referrals for other services as needed
