Miami-Dade Lifts Swimming Advisory at Virginia Key Beach

Miami, FL. Based on satisfactory microbial water quality test result, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County is lifting the swimming advisory that was issued on September 5, 2019 for Virginia Key Beach. 

The Swimming Advisory for the following beach sites remains in effect:  

  • Crandon North
  • Crandon South
  • Dog Beach Rickenbacker Causeway
  • Cape Florida
  • Key Biscayne (Beach Club)
