The Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade WIC Program will be hosting the 6th Annual Holiday Homestead/Florida City Health & Resource Fair on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 9:30am – 1:30pm at the Florida City WIC Clinic 753 West Palm Drive Florida City, FL 33034. It’s a fun, family-friendly event that is free and open to all.
This holiday event provides free toys and books for children, free food, resources, services, health/dental screenings and information on nutrition, health, safety, wellness, and advocacy to the South Dade community. Families will be able to take a FREE memorable holiday photo with Santa and visit with local community organizations, enjoy music, children activities including face painting, airbrush tattoos and balloon artist. Other activities include fitness classes, free food distribution by FarmShare, health and dental screenings for children and adults, free eye exams for children and much more!
Raffles will be conducted throughout the event giving away wonderful prizes! There will be 4 mobile units providing services, screenings, education and giveaways. This event would not be possible without the generous support and contribution of our community partners.
